THE STORY

The Film depicts how FBI Agent MARK FELT became an Anonymous Source ("Deep Throat") for Reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, and helped them in the Investigation which led them to the Watergate Scandal which ultimately led to the Resignation of President Richard M. Nixon in 1974. Though Felt's Identity as Deep Throat was strongly suspected by some in Washington, including Nixon himself, and was speculated by many others, it generally remained a Secret for the next 30 Years. In 2005, Felt finally acknowledged that he was Deep Throat.

OUR REVIEW

"Mark Felt : The Man Who Brought Down The White House" arrives seeming less like a Coded Message than a Direct Plea. The FBI needs to remember that they are Independent of the White House, and have an Obligation to do Right by any Means Necessary. Does the Film refers to the Current Political Climate and us not looking for Parallels to the Trump Administration ? Mark Felt appears to be a Career F.B.I. Man with Silver Hair and a Reputation for Righteousness taking up the thankless Task of investigating a Suspected Wrongdoing and Attendant Cover-up.... The Film demonstrates that there´s a lot of Drama left to it leaving you suspecting that it only wedged a Portion of that Drama onto the Screen...
